Dubbed Proactive Employment Solutions (PES), the company considers
the event a source of motivation for young aspiring professionals to
work hard at achieving their short and long term career objectives,
goals and development.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, TAYPA Coordinator Wastara
Ally, said: “PES is proud to present this event for the second time…it
will include young exceptional professionals across all industries in
both the public and private sectors that are high performing
individuals, making a difference in their respective fields.
According to her, awards categories are the Sage Award, which
contributes to the development of other people by mentoring and by
educating individuals who demonstrate success.
Second category is Trail Blazer Award, for achieving results by
demonstrating exceptional leadership in difficult circumstances, while
Captain of Industry award is for delivered successful projects by
demonstrating exceptional leadership capabilities in difficult
circumstances.
Pioneer Award, according to PES is for individuals who have
developed products or initiatives through Technology that has brought
about change and improved people’s standards living through inventions
and innovations.
There is also Alliance Award for youth groups who collaborate on
social and development projects that cannot be acknowledged by
individual merit but are doing ‘amazing things’ in groups towards change
and development.
Awards are open to all professionals aged between 18 and 35 years,
and for those achieving exceptional results as well as contributing
significantly to Tanzania’s development.
Also, they are open to role models, working in any sector that
contributes to Tanzania’s development. A contester should always be
Tanzania citizen.
